Aromek 2.5mg Tablets contain Letrozole, a potent non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor (AI). It has two established clinical indications in Pakistan:
- Hormone receptor-positive breast cancer (postmenopausal women): Letrozole inhibits the aromatase enzyme, blocking conversion of androgens to oestrogens. This reduces circulating oestrogen, slowing or stopping growth of oestrogen-dependent tumours.
