Fucort Cream contains Fusidic Acid BP 2% w/w (Sodium Fusidate in ointment form), a narrow-spectrum prescription topical antibiotic with exceptional antibacterial activity against gram-positive organisms including penicillin-resistant Staphylococci. Penetrates the focus of infection through intact skin. Treats impetigo, boils, carbuncles, folliculitis, paronychia, infected wounds, sycosis barbae, erythrasma, hidradenitis, and acne vulgaris.
