Description
About Dapxi 10mg
Dapxi 10mg Tablets contain Dapagliflozin, a SGLT2 (sodium-glucose cotransporter-2) inhibitor used in the management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. The 10mg dose is the standard maintenance dose for most adult patients. Dapagliflozin works by blocking glucose reabsorption in the kidney, causing excess glucose to be excreted in urine and lowering blood sugar without causing hypoglycaemia as monotherapy. Beyond glycaemic control, it has demonstrated cardiovascular and renal protective benefits in patients with heart failure and chronic kidney disease (CKD).
