Description
About Dapxi 5mg
Dapxi 5mg Tablets contain Dapagliflozin, a SGLT2 (sodium-glucose cotransporter-2) inhibitor used in the management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. The 5mg dose is the recommended initiating (starter) dose, allowing tolerability to be assessed before titrating to the 10mg maintenance dose if clinically indicated. Dapagliflozin reduces glucose reabsorption in the kidney, increasing urinary glucose excretion and lowering blood sugar with a low intrinsic risk of hypoglycaemia.
