Description
Lamisil Tablets 250mg contain Terbinafine hydrochloride, an allylamine antifungal manufactured by Novartis. Each pack of 14 tablets is a prescription-only medicine for the systemic treatment of dermatophyte fungal infections.
Terbinafine works by inhibiting squalene epoxidase, blocking the biosynthesis of ergosterol in fungal cell membranes. This leads to accumulation of the toxic precursor squalene and subsequent fungal cell death.
