Ketoconazole, the active ingredient in CONAZ Lotion, works by preventing the growth of fungi. It does this by interfering with the formation of ergosterol, a crucial component of the fungal cell membrane. This action weakens the fungal cells, leading to their destruction and clearing the infection.

What Scalp Conditions Does CONAZ Treat?

CONAZ Lotion is effective in treating various fungal infections of the scalp, including:

• Dandruff: A common condition characterized by flaking and itching of the scalp.
• Seborrheic Dermatitis: A chronic skin condition that causes redness, scaling, and flaking on the scalp and other oily areas of the body.

  How to Use CONAZ Lotion

  1. Wet Hair: Thoroughly wet your hair with water.
  2. Apply and Lather: Apply a sufficient amount of CONAZ Lotion to your scalp and lather well.
  3. Leave on for 3-5 Minutes: Leave the lotion on your scalp for 3-5 minutes to allow the ketoconazole to work.
