Description
Advantan Cream 0.1%
is a highly effective treatment for eczema and other skin inflammations. Its active ingredient, Methylprednisolone Aceponate, is a powerful corticosteroid that helps reduce the inflammation, redness, and swelling caused by conditions such as atopic dermatitis and contact eczema. It also relieves itching, burning sensations, and pain, offering fast and reliable comfort for those suffering from these common skin issues.
The cream works by directly targeting the inflammation and allergic reactions of the skin, providing much-needed relief. It is important to note that Advantan Cream should not be applied to large areas or used for extended periods due to the risk of side effects like skin thinning. For best results, follow your doctor's advice regarding the appropriate usage.

FAQs
Is Advantan Cream available without a prescription?
No. Advantan Cream 0.1% is a prescription-only (Rx) corticosteroid medicine. A valid prescription from a licensed physician is required for dispensing.
What conditions is Advantan Cream prescribed for?
It is indicated for inflammatory skin conditions including atopic eczema (atopic dermatitis), contact eczema, and other steroid-responsive dermatoses.
How long can I use Advantan Cream?
Duration is determined by your physician. Corticosteroids like Advantan should not be used continuously for long periods. Prolonged use on large areas can cause skin thinning and other systemic effects.
Can Advantan Cream be used on the face?
Only as directed by a dermatologist. The face has thinner skin and is more prone to corticosteroid side effects; facial use should be limited in duration.
Is Advantan safe during pregnancy?
Use only if your doctor determines it is clearly necessary. All topical corticosteroids carry a caution during pregnancy; consult your physician before use.
Who manufactures Advantan Cream?
Advantan is manufactured by Bayer — a globally trusted pharmaceutical company.
