Barinep Eye Drops 5ml — Nepafenac 0.1% for Eye Inflammation
Description
Barinep Eye Drops 5ml — Nepafenac 0.1% (Rx Ophthalmic NSAID)
Barinep Eye Drops 5ml contain Nepafenac 0.1%, a prescription non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) for ophthalmic use. Nepafenac penetrates the cornea and is converted to its active form, amfenac, which inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes and reduces prostaglandin synthesis. This controls post-operative ocular inflammation and pain following cataract surgery, and helps prevent cystoid macular edema — particularly important in diabetic patients.
- Rx ophthalmic NSAID — inhibits COX enzymes to reduce post-surgical inflammation
- Prevents cystoid macular edema after cataract surgery
- Reduces ocular pain, swelling, and photophobia post-operatively
- Prodrug formulation for enhanced corneal penetration
- Prescription-only (Rx) — use only as directed by your ophthalmologist
