Bepsar Plus Tablet is a fixed-dose combination of Losartan Potassium (angiotensin II receptor blocker / ARB) and Hydrochlorothiazide (thiazide diuretic). By blocking angiotensin II-mediated vasoconstriction and simultaneously reducing fluid volume through increased urinary output, Bepsar Plus delivers superior blood pressure reduction compared to Losartan monotherapy alone. Available on prescription only.
Uses
Prescribed for patients with hypertension (high blood pressure) not adequately controlled by Losartan monotherapy — including Stage-2 hypertension and resistant hypertension. Also used to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events (stroke, heart attack) and to protect kidney function in diabetic hypertensive patients. Use as directed by your physician.
How to Use
Take one tablet once daily at the same time each morning, with or without food. Swallow whole with water. Take in the morning to avoid nocturnal diuresis from the hydrochlorothiazide component. Do not stop without consulting your physician or pharmacist. Monitor blood pressure, potassium, and kidney function regularly as directed.
