Betoptic-S Eye Drops 0.25% 5ml contain Betaxolol, a cardioselective beta1-adrenergic receptor blocking agent used to lower elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in chronic open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension. By selectively blocking beta1-receptors in the ciliary body, Betaxolol reduces aqueous humour production and lowers IOP, protecting the optic nerve from progressive damage.

How To Use
1. Wash hands thoroughly before use.
2. Shake the bottle well before each application.
3. Tilt your head back and pull down the lower eyelid.
4. Instil one drop of Betoptic-S into the affected eye(s) as prescribed (typically twice daily).
5. Close your eye for 1–2 minutes and apply gentle nasolacrimal pressure to reduce systemic absorption.
6. Do not allow the dropper tip to touch any surface.
