Bfl Liquifilm Sterile Ophthalmic Suspension 5ml — Fluorometholone Eye Drops
Description
Bfl Liquifilm Sterile Ophthalmic Suspension 5mL — Fluorometholone 0.1%
Bfl Liquifilm is a sterile prescription-only (Rx) ophthalmic suspension containing Fluorometholone 0.1%, a synthetic corticosteroid indicated for the treatment of inflammatory conditions of the anterior segment of the eye. Fluorometholone inhibits the release of inflammatory mediators — prostaglandins, leukotrienes, and histamine — reducing ocular redness, swelling, and irritation. It is prescribed for conditions such as allergic conjunctivitis, keratitis, episcleritis, and post-surgical ocular inflammation following procedures such as cataract removal. Its moderate penetration into the anterior chamber provides effective anti-inflammatory action with a lower risk of intraocular pressure elevation compared to stronger corticosteroids. Use only under ophthalmic supervision.
