Biforge 5/80mg Tablet by Highnoon Laboratories combines amlodipine 5 mg (a calcium channel blocker, CCB) and valsartan 80 mg (an angiotensin II receptor blocker, ARB). This starting-strength fixed-dose combination is prescribed for mild to moderate hypertension, particularly when initiating dual therapy or stepping up from a single agent.
How Biforge Works
Amlodipine blocks L-type calcium channels in vascular smooth muscle, relaxing arteries and reducing peripheral resistance. Valsartan blocks the AT1 receptor of angiotensin II, preventing vasoconstriction and aldosterone-driven fluid retention. Together they deliver smooth 24-hour blood pressure reduction with complementary mechanisms.

Important Safety Information
