How To Use
1. Use in the evening only. AHA+BHA exfoliants significantly increase photosensitivity.
2. Begin with 2–3 times per week. Do not exceed daily use without dermatologist guidance.
3. Apply a small amount to clean, dry skin on the face and neck. Avoid the eye area.
4. Allow to absorb fully — do not rinse off.
5. Follow with your moisturiser.
6. In the morning, SPF 30+ is absolutely mandatory — skip this and risk sun damage.
Critical warnings:
— Perform a patch test before first use.
— Expect initial purging or stinging during the first 2–4 weeks of use — this is normal and temporary.
— Do not combine with other retinoids or high-strength exfoliants in the same routine without dermatologist guidance.
— Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women without consulting a healthcare professional.
— Discontinue if severe irritation, persistent redness, or burning occurs.
FAQs
Is AHA 10% + BHA 2% too strong for beginners?
This is a high-strength dual-acid exfoliant. Beginners should start slowly — 2 times per week — and build up gradually. Patch testing is strongly recommended.
Do I absolutely need to use SPF with this exfoliant?
Yes — without exception. The combination of AHA and BHA dramatically increases your skin's sensitivity to sunlight. Daily SPF 30+ is mandatory the morning after every use.
Can I use this with retinol in the same routine?
No. Combining high-strength AHA/BHA with retinol in the same routine can cause significant irritation. If using both, alternate evenings and only under dermatologist guidance.
What is Lingonberry extract and what does it do?
Lingonberry is a Nordic berry rich in antioxidants (Vitamin C, polyphenols). It helps neutralise free radicals, brighten the skin, and soothe any irritation caused by the exfoliating acids.
Can I use this if I am pregnant?
This is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Both AHA and BHA exfoliants should be used with caution during this time — consult your doctor first.
