Clotnil Plus Tablets 75+75mg – Clopidogrel & Aspirin for Stroke Prevention
• Clotnil Plus Tablets 75+75mg combine Clopidogrel 75mg and Aspirin 75mg as Rx dual antiplatelet therapy. • Aspirin here is at antiplatelet dose (75mg) — not an analgesic dose. • Indicated for ACS, recent ischaemic stroke, and secondary prevention of thromboembolism. • Stronger cardiovascular protection than Clopidogrel monotherapy alone. • Prescription-only (Rx) — bleeding risk requires medical supervision.

Clotnil Plus Tablets 75+75mg – Clopidogrel & Aspirin for Stroke Prevention
Description
Clotnil Plus Tablets 75+75mg – Clopidogrel & Aspirin for Stroke Prevention
Clotnil Plus Tablets 75+75mg combine Clopidogrel 75mg and Aspirin 75mg as Rx dual antiplatelet therapy. Clopidogrel irreversibly blocks platelet P2Y12 ADP receptors; Aspirin inhibits COX-1, reducing thromboxane A2 formation. Together they provide synergistic prevention of arterial thrombosis — the combination is guideline-recommended for Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS), recent ischaemic stroke, and high-risk cardiovascular events. Note: Aspirin 75mg here is an antiplatelet dose, not an analgesic dose.
- Rx dual antiplatelet: Clopidogrel 75mg + Aspirin 75mg (antiplatelet dose)
- Indicated for ACS, recent MI, ischaemic stroke, and secondary prevention
- Synergistic protection greater than either agent alone
- Monitor closely for bleeding; avoid NSAIDs and anticoagulants without medical advice
How to Use Clotnil Plus Tablets 75+75mg
Take one tablet daily as prescribed by your cardiologist, at the same time each day with water. Do not stop treatment abruptly — sudden discontinuation may increase ischaemic risk. Report any unusual bleeding, black stools, or bruising immediately. Send prescription to sales@derma.pk or WhatsApp +92-320-5999650.

Usage & Benefits
- Dual antiplatelet: Clopidogrel blocks P2Y12 receptor; Aspirin inhibits COX-1 and thromboxane A2 formation.
- Synergistic protection against arterial thrombosis greater than either agent alone.
- Guideline-recommended for ACS, STEMI, NSTEMI, and high-risk ischaemic stroke patients.
- Reduces risk of stent thrombosis in patients post-percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
- Prescription-regulated for safe, monitored cardiovascular therapy.
How To Use
Take one tablet daily as prescribed by your cardiologist, at the same time each day with water. Do not stop treatment abruptly — sudden discontinuation significantly increases ischaemic and stent thrombosis risk. Monitor closely for unusual bleeding (black stools, prolonged bleeding from cuts, blood in urine) and report immediately to your doctor.
FAQs
Why does Clotnil Plus contain aspirin at 75mg rather than analgesic doses?
At 75mg, aspirin acts as an antiplatelet agent by irreversibly inhibiting COX-1 and reducing thromboxane A2. This is distinct from analgesic/anti-inflammatory doses (500mg–1000mg). The low dose is specifically for cardiovascular protection.
When is Clotnil Plus prescribed instead of Clotnil 75mg alone?
Dual antiplatelet therapy with both clopidogrel and aspirin is recommended for Acute Coronary Syndrome, post-PCI stenting, and other high-risk ischaemic events where monotherapy is insufficient.
Can I take additional aspirin or NSAIDs while on Clotnil Plus?
No. Adding extra NSAIDs significantly increases bleeding risk. Always consult your cardiologist before taking any additional anti-inflammatory medicines.
