Clotnil Tablets 75mg – Clopidogrel for Stroke & Atherothrombotic Prevention
Clotnil Tablets 75mg contain Clopidogrel 75mg, an Rx antiplatelet prodrug that irreversibly blocks the platelet P2Y12 ADP receptor, inhibiting platelet aggregation and reducing arterial clot formation. It is indicated for secondary prevention of atherothrombotic events in adults with recent MI (from a few days up to 35 days), recent ischaemic stroke (7 days to 6 months), or established peripheral arterial disease. It is also used with aspirin (as dual antiplatelet therapy) and in patients with atrial fibrillation unsuitable for vitamin K antagonists.

Why is Clopidogrel Rx-only?
