Difsom Eye Drops 0.1% 5ml contain Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate 0.1%, a potent ophthalmic corticosteroid that suppresses inflammatory and immune responses in the eye. It reduces redness, swelling, pain, and irritation caused by inflammation, providing effective relief for a range of anterior segment ocular conditions. Available on prescription only — use as directed by your ophthalmologist.
Uses
Difsom 0.1% Eye Drops are prescribed for uveitis, allergic conjunctivitis, keratitis (corneal inflammation), and post-surgical or post-traumatic ocular inflammation. Prolonged use of corticosteroid eye drops can increase intraocular pressure (IOP) and risk glaucoma — regular IOP monitoring is mandatory during treatment. Do not use for bacterial, viral, or fungal infections without appropriate antimicrobial therapy.
How to Use
Wash hands before use. Apply as directed by your ophthalmologist. Do not touch dropper tip to eye. Tilt head back, pull lower eyelid down gently, instil the prescribed number of drops, and close eye for 1-2 minutes. Remove contact lenses before instillation and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting.
Storage
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of children's reach.
