About Estrolet 2.5mg
Estrolet 2.5mg Tablets contain Letrozole, a potent non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor that reduces oestrogen production in the body. Letrozole inhibits the aromatase enzyme, blocking the conversion of androgens to oestrogen. In postmenopausal women with hormone receptor-positive breast cancer, this lowers circulating oestrogen and slows or stops tumour growth. In women with infertility or PCOS, it stimulates the natural release of eggs by triggering ovarian follicle development.
Uses
Estrolet 2.5mg has two distinct clinical applications: (1) adjuvant and extended adjuvant hormonal therapy for hormone receptor-positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women; and (2) ovulation induction in women with anovulatory infertility or polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Available on prescription only. For use under supervision of oncologist or gynaecologist ONLY.
How to Use
The dose, timing, and duration depend entirely on your indication. For breast cancer: as directed by your oncologist, typically one tablet (2.5mg) daily. For ovulation induction: as directed by your gynaecologist, typically on specific cycle days with ultrasound monitoring. Swallow whole with water at the same time each day.
