Etrizine-L tablets are the levoisomer of cetirizine (levocetirizine) with double the affinity for Hreceptors, offering rapid and long-lasting antihistaminic action compared to cetirizine

Composition:

Each film-coated tablet contains: Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride (M.S).5mg

Indications:

EtrizineL tablets are indicated in patients 6 years and above for the treatment of allergic conditions such as allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial), allergic conjunctivitis, and chronic idiopathic urticaria

Mode of Action:

EtrizineL is a potent, selective, peripheral H1 receptor antagonist with negligible effects on other receptors

Dosage:

  • In adults and children older than 6 years: The recommended daily dose of Etrizine-L is 5mg
  • In children aged 2 to 6 years: The recommended daily dose of Etrizine-L tablets is 2.5mg in two divided doses
  • In patients with renal impairment: The dose should be adjusted according to creatinine clearance
