Description
Eyfem Eye Drops 5ml contain Fluorometholone 0.1%, a corticosteroid (steroid) eye drop prescribed for the treatment of non-infectious inflammatory conditions of the eye including allergic conjunctivitis, keratitis, and post-operative inflammation. Fluorometholone inhibits the release of prostaglandins and leukotrienes, reducing redness, swelling, itching, and discomfort caused by ocular inflammation.
Eyfem 0.1% is considered a mild-to-moderate corticosteroid, making it a preferred choice for ocular inflammatory conditions where lower steroid potency is appropriate. However, like all steroid eye drops, it should only be used for the duration prescribed by an ophthalmologist. Prolonged unsupervised use may increase the risk of elevated IOP, cataracts, or secondary infections.

How To Use
Wash hands before use. Tilt head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid. Instil the prescribed number of drops into the affected eye. Use only for the duration recommended by your ophthalmologist. Do not use longer than instructed — prolonged steroid use increases the risk of elevated IOP and cataracts.
