Floroptic Eye Drops 0.1% 5ml – Fluorometholone for Eye Inflammation
Description
About Floroptic
Floroptic Eye Drops 0.1% 5ml contain Fluorometholone 0.1%, a mild ophthalmic corticosteroid that suppresses inflammatory responses in the anterior segment of the eye. Fluorometholone is preferred for surface-level ocular inflammation as it penetrates the cornea with reduced risk of elevated intraocular pressure compared to stronger steroids such as dexamethasone. Available on prescription only — use under ophthalmologist supervision. Prolonged use may increase intraocular pressure (IOP) — regular monitoring is required.
Uses
Floroptic 0.1% Eye Drops are prescribed for allergic conjunctivitis, vernal keratoconjunctivitis, superficial punctate keratitis, and post-operative or post-traumatic anterior segment inflammation.
