About Fluderm 50mg
Fluderm 50mg Capsules contain Fluconazole, a triazole antifungal medicine that inhibits the fungal enzyme lanosterol 14-alpha-demethylase, preventing formation of the fungal cell membrane and stopping growth of infection-causing fungi. It is effective against a wide range of fungal species. Available on prescription only.
Uses
Fluderm 50mg is prescribed for the treatment of oropharyngeal and oesophageal candidiasis (oral thrush), vaginal candidiasis (yeast infection), tinea corporis (ringworm), tinea cruris, tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea versicolor, and systemic candidal infections. It may also be used for prophylaxis of fungal infections in immunocompromised patients under medical supervision.
How to Use
Take one capsule once daily, or as prescribed by your doctor — the dose and duration depend on the type and severity of infection. Swallow whole with water; may be taken with or without food. Complete the full prescribed course even if symptoms resolve early to prevent recurrence and resistance. Do not alter the dose without medical advice.
