Fudic B Cream 15gm combines two active ingredients: Fusidic Acid (antibiotic) and Betamethasone (potent corticosteroid). This dual-action formula treats bacterial skin infections where significant inflammation is also present. Fusidic Acid targets and eliminates gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, while Betamethasone rapidly reduces redness, itching, swelling, and discomfort caused by the inflammatory response.
Fudic B is distinct from plain Fudic Cream — the addition of Betamethasone makes it appropriate for infected inflammatory skin conditions such as sycosis barbae (beard area follicular infection), impetigo with surrounding eczema, nail bed infections, infected dermatitis, and folliculitis. It should be used for the shortest effective duration; prolonged steroid use should be avoided and only continued under medical supervision. Not suitable for use on large skin areas, on the face for extended periods, or in children without doctor's guidance.
