Hicwic 250mg Tablets contain azithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic prescribed for susceptible bacterial infections of the respiratory tract (such as bronchitis and community-acquired pneumonia), ear, sinuses, skin and soft tissue, and certain sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Azithromycin works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, stopping bacteria from multiplying so the immune system can clear the infection.
