Levetram 250mg Tablet contains Levetiracetam, a broad-spectrum anticonvulsant (Schedule-H Rx) used in the treatment of epilepsy. The 250mg strength is used as an initiating dose during therapy escalation, allowing the body to adjust before titrating to the standard 500mg maintenance dose under neurologist supervision. Levetiracetam modulates neurotransmitter release via the SV2A synaptic vesicle protein to reduce abnormal electrical activity in the brain.
Uses
Levetram 250mg is prescribed for partial-onset seizures, generalised tonic-clonic seizures, and myoclonic seizures in patients with epilepsy. It may be used as monotherapy or as adjunctive therapy alongside other antiepileptics.
How to Use
Take exactly as directed by your neurologist ONLY. Do not stop or adjust the dose without your neurologist's guidance — abrupt discontinuation can trigger seizures.
