Moxiopt Moxifloxacin 0.5% Eye Drops 5ml
Prescription required. Moxiopt Eye Drops contain Moxifloxacin HCl 0.5%, a fourth-generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic used in the management of bacterial conjunctivitis and other anterior segment ocular infections under ophthalmologist supervision.
Active Ingredient
Moxifloxacin HCl 0.5% w/v — fluoroquinolone antibiotic. Inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, preventing bacterial DNA replication, transcription, repair, and recombination. Effective against a broad spectrum of Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms.
Indication
Used in the management of bacterial conjunctivitis and anterior segment ocular infections caused by susceptible strains, under the direction of a licensed ophthalmologist. Prescription required before dispensing.

How To Use
1. Instill as directed by your doctor or ophthalmologist. Wash hands before use. Do not touch the dropper tip to your eye or any surface. Tilt head back, pull down the lower eyelid, instill prescribed drops. Close eye gently. Complete the full prescribed course even if symptoms resolve early.
