Nepopt Nepafenac 0.1% Eye Drops 5ml
Prescription required. Nepopt Eye Drops contain Nepafenac 0.1%, an ophthalmic non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used in the management of ocular pain and inflammation associated with cataract surgery, and for the prevention of macular oedema in diabetic patients, under ophthalmologist supervision.
Active Ingredient
Nepafenac 0.1% w/v — ophthalmic NSAID prodrug. Converted to amfenac after corneal absorption; inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, reducing prostaglandin synthesis and thereby reducing ocular inflammation and pain.
Indication
Used in the management of ocular pain and inflammation following cataract extraction surgery, and for prevention and treatment of macular oedema associated with cataract surgery in diabetic patients, under the direction of a licensed ophthalmologist. Prescription required before dispensing.

How To Use
1. Instill as directed by your doctor or ophthalmologist. Wash hands before use. Shake well before each use. Do not touch the dropper tip to your eye or any surface. Tilt head back, pull down the lower eyelid, instill prescribed drops. Close eye gently. Do not wear contact lenses during the post-operative period unless advised by your ophthalmologist.
