Nevanac Eye Drops 0.1% 5ml – Nepafenac Post-cataract Surgery
Description
Nevanac Eye Drops 0.1% 5ml contain Nepafenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) prodrug indicated for the prevention and treatment of pain and inflammation associated with cataract surgery. After penetrating the cornea, Nepafenac is converted by ocular tissue hydrolases to Amfenac, which inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes and reduces prostaglandin synthesis in ocular tissues.
Nevanac is also indicated for the reduction of risk of post-operative macular oedema in diabetic patients undergoing cataract surgery. It is typically instilled one drop in the affected eye three times daily, beginning one day before surgery and continuing through the first two weeks post-operatively. Use only as directed by your healthcare provider.
Nevanac Eye Drops by Alcon Pharma are available at Derma.pk with delivery across Pakistan. A valid prescription is required. Send your prescription to sales@derma.pk or WhatsApp +92-320-5999650.
