Omsana AM 10/40mg Tablet (20s)
Omsana AM 10/40mg Tablet is a prescription dual-action antihypertensive containing Amlodipine 10mg (calcium channel blocker) and Olmesartan Medoxomil 40mg (angiotensin II receptor blocker / ARB). It is indicated for moderate to severe hypertension when lower-dose or single-agent therapy is insufficient.
This higher Olmesartan dose provides stronger ARB action while the Amlodipine component improves peripheral blood flow. Together they deliver robust 24-hour BP control and protect the heart, brain, and kidneys from the long-term consequences of uncontrolled hypertension.
Important: Contraindicated in pregnancy — the ARB component is teratogenic. Do not stop abruptly; sudden withdrawal can cause BP rebound. Peripheral edema (ankle swelling) may occur from the CCB component. Electrolyte and renal function monitoring is recommended for long-term use. Take strictly as prescribed.
