Piozer 30mg Tablet contains Pioglitazone 30mg, a thiazolidinedione (TZD) oral antidiabetic medicine used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. It lowers blood glucose by improving insulin sensitivity in muscle and adipose tissue, enabling more effective cellular glucose uptake and reducing hepatic glucose output.
Piozer 30mg is recommended when diet, exercise, or lower-dose therapy such as Metformin or Sulfonylureas alone are insufficient for glycaemic control.
