Description

Respicare Tablets 10mg contain Montelukast Sodium, a leukotriene receptor antagonist (LTRA) used in the management and prevention of asthma and allergic rhinitis. Montelukast blocks leukotriene receptors in the airways and nasal passages, reducing inflammation, airway narrowing, and mucus production triggered by allergens and exercise.

Respicare 10mg is indicated for chronic asthma management, prevention of exercise-induced bronchoconstriction, and relief of perennial allergic rhinitis symptoms including nasal congestion, sneezing, and rhinorrhoea. It is prescribed as a once-daily oral tablet, typically taken in the evening for asthma management.

Important: Respicare does not treat acute asthma attacks. Patients should always have a short-acting rescue inhaler available. Potential drug interactions exist with phenobarbital, phenytoin, rifampicin, and other enzyme inducers. Side effects may include headache, abdominal pain, and thirst; rarely, serious allergic reactions may occur.

This is a prescription-only medicine. Send your prescription to sales@derma.pk or WhatsApp +92-320-5999650. Derma.pk offers fast delivery across Pakistan.
