Description
Rosca EZ 10+10mg Tablets combine Rosuvastatin 10mg and Ezetimibe 10mg in a single tablet, providing a dual-mechanism approach to cholesterol management. Rosuvastatin inhibits HMG-CoA reductase in the liver, reducing cholesterol synthesis, increasing LDL receptor expression, and suppressing VLDL production. Ezetimibe complements this by selectively blocking cholesterol absorption at the intestinal brush border, reducing dietary and biliary cholesterol entry into the bloodstream.
This combination is indicated for patients with hyperlipidaemia who require greater LDL reduction than can be achieved with a statin alone, or those who are intolerant to higher statin doses.
