Roviros 5mg Tablets contain Rosuvastatin, a well-established HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (statin) used for managing elevated cholesterol and triglyceride levels. The 5mg dose is commonly prescribed as a starting dose or for patients requiring mild to moderate lipid control, including those who are elderly or have a higher sensitivity to statins.
Rosuvastatin lowers LDL (bad cholesterol) and triglycerides while raising HDL (good cholesterol), reducing the long-term risk of cardiovascular events including heart attack and stroke.
