Sciampa 25mg Tablet — Empagliflozin SGLT2 Inhibitor
Sciampa 25mg Tablet contains empagliflozin 25mg, a sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 (SGLT2) inhibitor prescribed for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults. It is also indicated to reduce the risk of cardiovascular death and hospitalisation for heart failure in patients with type 2 diabetes and established cardiovascular disease or high cardiovascular risk, and to slow the progression of chronic kidney disease. This medicine requires a valid prescription from a licensed physician.
Empagliflozin works by blocking SGLT2 receptors in the renal proximal tubule, preventing glucose reabsorption and promoting glucosuria (excretion of glucose in urine). This mechanism lowers blood glucose levels independently of insulin, and also provides beneficial effects on blood pressure, body weight, and renal function.

How To Use
