Telox 300mg Tablets by Platinum Pharmaceuticals contain oxcarbazepine, an anticonvulsant medicine prescribed for epilepsy, especially partial (focal) seizures. By stabilising abnormal electrical activity in the brain, oxcarbazepine helps reduce seizure frequency and supports better day-to-day neurological control. It may be used alone or alongside other antiepileptic medicines, based on your specialist’s advice.
Telox is a prescription medicine. Do not stop or reduce the dose suddenly – abrupt discontinuation can trigger seizures. Tell your doctor immediately about any skin rash, fever, mouth ulcers, peeling or blistering of the skin, confusion, severe drowsiness, headache, nausea or low energy, as oxcarbazepine can rarely cause serious skin reactions and low blood sodium (hyponatraemia).
