Description
Travatan Eye Drops 0.004% (Travoprost) 2.5ml is a prostaglandin F2α analogue indicated for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Travoprost, a prodrug, is hydrolysed by corneal esterases to its active form, Travoprost acid, which binds to prostaglandin FP receptors and increases uveoscleral and trabecular outflow of aqueous humour, significantly reducing IOP.
Travatan provides effective 24-hour IOP control when instilled once daily in the evening. How To Use
1. Wash hands thoroughly before use.
