Travost Eye Drops (travoprost) — Glaucoma & Eye Pressure
Description
Travost Eye Drops — Travoprost Prostaglandin Analogue
Travost Eye Drops contain Travoprost, a prostaglandin F2-alpha analogue (PGA) that lowers intraocular pressure (IOP) by increasing uveoscleral outflow of aqueous humor. It is prescribed for open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension to slow optic-nerve damage and protect vision over the long term.
Use under ophthalmologist guidance. Typically instilled one drop in the affected eye(s) once daily in the evening. Travoprost may cause iris darkening, increased eyelash growth and pigmentation of the eyelid skin — usually permanent in the iris. Mild redness or stinging can occur. Avoid touching the dropper tip to keep the bottle sterile and remove contact lenses before instillation (reinsert after 15 minutes). Browse more eye drops and eye care at derma.pk.
