Zeenaryl Tablets 3mg — Glimepiride for Type 2 Diabetes
Description
Zeenaryl Tablets 3mg contain Glimepiride 3mg, a third-generation sulfonylurea prescribed for adults with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. The 3mg dose represents a common titration step between the 2mg starting dose and the 4mg maximum, allowing individualized glycaemic management. Glimepiride stimulates pancreatic insulin secretion and enhances peripheral glucose utilization.
Used as monotherapy alongside diet and exercise, or in combination with Metformin, thiazolidinediones, or insulin when additional glucose-lowering is required. Regular blood glucose and HbA1c monitoring is recommended throughout therapy.
For lower-dose initiation, see Zeenaryl 2mg Tablets, or Zeenaryl 4mg Tablets for the maximum glimepiride dose when required.
Safety Information: Not for Type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis. Use cautiously in hepatic or renal impairment. Risk of hypoglycaemia — monitor blood glucose regularly. Rx only — valid prescription required. Email prescription to sales@derma.pk or WhatsApp +92-320-5999650.

FAQs
What makes Zeenaryl 3mg different from 2mg?
Zeenaryl 3mg contains a higher dose of Glimepiride and is used as a titration step when the 2mg dose does not provide sufficient blood sugar control, as determined by your doctor.
How does Glimepiride 3mg control blood sugar?
Glimepiride stimulates pancreatic beta cells to secrete insulin and improves peripheral glucose uptake in muscle and fat tissues, thereby lowering both fasting and post-meal glucose levels.
Can I switch from Zeenaryl 2mg to 3mg myself?
No. Dose changes must be made under medical supervision only. Your doctor will evaluate your blood glucose levels and HbA1c before adjusting your dose.
