Indications

Scabion Forte is effective against scabies caused by Sarcoptes scabiei. It also relieves itching of various origins — including essential, senile, and anogenital pruritus; itching associated with allergies, jaundice, or diabetes mellitus; and itching from insect bites and stings. It is also indicated for secondary pyodermal (bacterial) infections.

How to Use

For scabies: after a warm bath, dry the skin and apply the lotion to the entire body from the chin down, paying close attention to folds and creases. Repeat daily, preferably in the evening with a bath before each application, changing all clothing and bed linen each time. Treatment usually continues for 3–5 days depending on response; for small children, apply only once daily.

For itching: gently massage into the affected areas until fully absorbed, and repeat as needed.

Contraindications and Warnings

Do not use if you are allergic or sensitive to the lotion or develop a rash from it. If severe irritation or sensitization occurs, stop using it and seek appropriate treatment.

Precautions

Avoid contact with the eyes and mouth, as it may cause irritation. Do not apply to acutely inflamed skin or raw, weeping surfaces until the inflammation subsides. Use carefully on sensitive skin under guidance.
