Arynoin-Plus Gel 10g by Pharma Health is a dual-action topical prescription gel for mild-to-moderate acne vulgaris. It combines Isotretinoin BP 0.05% w/w (retinoid) with Erythromycin BP 2% w/w (macrolide antibiotic) in an ethanolic gel base to simultaneously target both comedonal and inflammatory acne lesions.
WARNING: Isotretinoin is a teratogen in all forms — oral AND topical. Absolutely contraindicated in pregnancy. Use effective contraception throughout treatment.
Composition
Each gram contains: Isotretinoin BP 0.5mg (0.05% w/w) + Erythromycin BP 20mg (2% w/w) in ethanolic gel base.
Pharmacological Properties
- Isotretinoin: Vitamin A derivative (retinoid); regulates epithelial cell growth and differentiation, reduces sebum production, and prevents microcomedone formation.
- Erythromycin: Macrolide antibiotic; reduces Propionibacterium acnes colonisation and inhibits release of inflammatory mediators.
- Dual action: Targets both the comedonal (non-inflammatory) and inflammatory phases of acne.
Indications
- Mild to moderate acne vulgaris
- Inflammatory acne lesions (papules, pustules)
- Non-inflammatory lesions (open and closed comedones)
Directions for Use
- Cleanse the affected area gently and pat dry.
- Apply sparingly over the entire affected area once or twice daily as directed by your dermatologist.
- Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, mucous membranes, abraded, or eczematous skin.
- Full therapeutic effect may take 6–8 weeks. Do not discontinue early.

- ABSOLUTELY CONTRAINDICATED IN PREGNANCY. Isotretinoin is a known human teratogen. Both oral and topical forms must not be used during pregnancy or while planning pregnancy.
- Do not use during breastfeeding (lactation).
- Use effective contraception throughout the entire treatment period.
- Do not use if hypersensitive to any ingredient.
Adverse Effects
Initial stinging, burning, erythema, or peeling may occur and typically diminish with continued use. Discontinue if severe irritation persists.

How To Use
