Blokium 50mg contains Atenolol 50mg, a cardioselective beta-blocker. It blocks the effect of adrenaline on the heart, so the heart beats more slowly and with less force. That lowers blood pressure and reduces how hard the heart has to work.

Directions for use (as prescribed)
