Description
Cosalic Lotion 60ml — Prescription Psoriasis & Seborrhoeic Dermatitis Treatment
Cosalic Lotion is a prescription-strength, triple-action medicated lotion combining Coal Tar, Salicylic Acid, and Hydrocortisone to treat psoriasis, seborrhoeic dermatitis, and dandruff on scalp and body skin.
Composition
- Strong Coal Tar Solution (USP): 30mg/ml
- Hydrocortisone (BP): 10mg/ml
- Salicylic Acid (BP): 30mg/ml
How It Works
Coal Tar slows abnormal skin cell proliferation and has anti-inflammatory and antifungal properties. Salicylic Acid acts as a keratolytic, softening and removing thick, scaly plaques. Hydrocortisone (a mild corticosteroid) reduces redness, swelling, and itch.

- Avoid eyes, mucous membranes, and broken/inflamed skin
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding safety not established — consult your doctor
Contraindications

It is indicated for psoriasis, seborrhoeic dermatitis, and dandruff affecting the scalp and skin.
Can I use Cosalic Lotion on my face?
Do not apply to the face unless explicitly directed by your dermatologist. Prolonged corticosteroid use on facial skin can cause thinning and other adverse effects.

How long should I use it?
Duration is determined by your dermatologist. Avoid prolonged use without medical supervision due to the corticosteroid component.
