Description
Cubil 50mg Tablet is an advanced prescription-only ARNi (Angiotensin Receptor-Neprilysin Inhibitor) combining Sacubitril 24mg and Valsartan 26mg for the treatment of chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF). It is indicated for patients with NYHA Class II–IV heart failure to reduce cardiovascular death and hospitalisation.
Sacubitril inhibits neprilysin, enhancing beneficial natriuretic peptide activity to promote vasodilation and diuresis. Valsartan blocks angiotensin II receptors, reducing vasoconstriction and fluid retention. Together they restore cardiac haemodynamics and reduce myocardial stress more effectively than ACE inhibitor monotherapy. Do not combine with ACE inhibitors; a 36-hour washout period is required when switching.
Cubil is available in 50mg, 100mg and 200mg strengths, allowing titration from an initial low dose to a target maintenance dose of 200mg twice daily. How To Use
Use only as directed by your healthcare provider.
1. Take Cubil 50mg orally, with or without food, as prescribed — typically twice daily.
2. Do not crush or chew the tablet; swallow whole with water.
3. Do not take with ACE inhibitors; allow a 36-hour washout period when switching from an ACE inhibitor.
4. Monitor blood pressure, renal function, and serum potassium regularly during therapy.
5. Do not stop or adjust the dose without consulting your cardiologist.
