Ketress Tablets 40mg contain Levamisole hydrochloride, an anthelmintic and immunomodulatory agent manufactured by ICI Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Each strip contains 3 tablets, dispensed only on a valid prescription.
Levamisole acts on L-subtype nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in nematode muscle tissue, causing sustained muscle contraction, paralysis, and elimination of the parasites. Beyond its antiparasitic action, Levamisole has immunomodulatory properties that may help restore depressed immune function under medical supervision.
Ketress Tablets are indicated for the treatment of parasitic infections including ascariasis (roundworm infection) and other nematode infections as determined by a physician. Immunomodulatory use is also under medical direction only.
