Nasonex Cream (Mometasone Furoate 0.1%) — Prescription Topical Corticosteroid
Nasonex Cream contains Mometasone Furoate 0.1%, a medium-potency topical corticosteroid indicated for the treatment of inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses. It provides effective relief from redness, swelling, and itching associated with a range of inflammatory skin conditions.
Prescription required. Use only as directed by your dermatologist or physician.
Composition
Each gram contains: Mometasone Furoate 0.1% w/w in a cream base.
Indications
Treatment of inflammatory and pruritic symptoms of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses in adults and children aged 2 years and older.
How to Use
As directed by your dermatologist. Generally applied as a thin layer to affected areas once daily. Discontinue once symptoms are controlled. Do not use for longer than 3 weeks in children without medical supervision.
Precautions
- For external use only — avoid eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes
- Prolonged or extensive use may cause skin thinning and systemic absorption
- Do not use occlusive dressings unless directed by a physician
- Not recommended for children under 2 years
- Discontinue if irritation or worsening occurs
- If no improvement within 2 weeks, consult your healthcare provider
