Description
Nepanac Eye Drops 0.1% 5ml contain Nepafenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) prodrug specifically designed for ocular use. After topical instillation, Nepafenac penetrates the cornea and is bioactivated to Amfenac, which potently inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes — blocking prostaglandin synthesis and thereby reducing post-surgical ocular pain, redness, and inflammation.
Nepanac is widely prescribed in Pakistan following cataract surgery to accelerate recovery, prevent macular oedema — particularly in diabetic patients — and improve visual outcomes. How To Use
Use as directed by your ophthalmologist. Shake the suspension gently before use. Wash hands thoroughly. Tilt head back, pull down the lower eyelid, and instil the prescribed number of drops. Do not wear contact lenses during post-surgical treatment. Complete the full prescribed course as directed by your physician.
