Valday 5/80 mg Tablets combine Amlodipine 5 mg and Valsartan 80 mg in a single tablet for the convenient management of high blood pressure (hypertension). Amlodipine, a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker, relaxes arterial smooth muscle to reduce peripheral resistance. Valsartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), prevents the hormone angiotensin II from binding to AT1 receptors, blocking vasoconstriction and sodium retention. The dual action produces effective, sustained blood pressure lowering.
