Wilda-M 50/1000mg Tablets contain Vildagliptin 50mg and Metformin Hydrochloride 1000mg, a higher-strength fixed-dose oral combination for adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus requiring more intensive metformin dosing alongside DPP-4 inhibition.
Vildagliptin inhibits the enzyme DPP-4, increasing active GLP-1 and GIP incretin hormone levels to stimulate meal-dependent insulin secretion and reduce glucagon.
