Composition
Each Ziton capsule by Wisdom Pharma contains 250mg of Azithromycin (as dihydrate) USP, a macrolide antibiotic effective against a wide range of bacterial infections.
Indications
Ziton Capsule is recommended for the treatment of:
- Upper respiratory tract infections, including pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, and otitis media
- Lower respiratory tract infections such as acute bronchitis and pneumonia
- Skin and soft tissue infections
- Incomplete genital infections caused by Chlamydia trachomatis in both men and women
Dosage and Administration
For most infections, the recommended dosage is two capsules once daily for three days. An alternative dosage regimen is two capsules on the first day, followed by one capsule daily for the next four days. In the case of Chlamydia trachomatis infections, four capsules can be taken as a single dose.
