Description
Lamictal 100mg Tablets - Lamotrigine for Epilepsy and Bipolar Disorder
Lamictal 100mg Tablets contain lamotrigine, an antiepileptic (anticonvulsant) and mood stabilising medicine. Lamotrigine works on voltage-sensitive sodium channels in the brain to reduce the abnormal release of excitatory neurotransmitters such as glutamate, helping to prevent epileptic seizures and stabilise mood in bipolar disorder.
Lamictal is prescribed for the treatment of partial and generalised seizures and for the long-term prevention of depressive episodes in bipolar I disorder. It may be used alone or in combination with other antiepileptic medicines under specialist supervision. Each strip contains 15 tablets of 100mg lamotrigine.
