Description
Zentel 10ml Oral Suspension 100mg/5ml by GlaxoSmithKline contains Albendazole, a broad-spectrum antiparasitic agent of the benzimidazole carbamate class. It is indicated for use in the management of intestinal parasitic infections including roundworm (ascariasis), hookworm, tapeworm (taeniasis), whipworm (trichuriasis), and pinworm infections, as directed by a licensed physician.
Each 5ml of suspension contains 100mg of Albendazole. Albendazole works by disrupting the energy metabolism of the parasite, inhibiting glucose uptake and leading to immobilisation and death of the worm. Shake well before use and measure the dose using the provided measuring device.
